Well, now that my computer is safe from the aural horror that is Celine Dion, is there a way for Sony to extend the "protection" further? To say, my TV? It can go blank whenever she goes on TV to show off her , uh, "talents". For that matter, market Celine-cancelling earphones. I'll buy.

    I thought she'd retired anyway.

Every night in my dreams I see you, I feel you,

That is how I know you go on.

Far across the distance and spaces between us

You have come to show you go on.

    Near, far, wherever you are,

I believe that the heart does go on.

Once more, you open the door

And you're here in my heart,

And my heart will go on and on.

Love can touch us one time and last for a lifetime,

And never let go till we're gone.

Love was when I loved you, one true time I hold to.

In my life we'll always go on.

    Near, far, wherever you are,

I believe that the heart does go on.

(why does the heart go on)

Once more, you open the door

And you're here in my heart,

And my heart will go on and on.

You're here, there's nothing to fear,

And I know that my heart will go on.

    We'll stay forever this way.

You are safe in my heart,

And my heart will go on and on.

    On and on....on and on~~~

(..) But serious, don't you think its illegal to make a CD product that your CD player product can't use?

    sure its illegal!

in europe, if you buy a music-cd psx-game or even a dvd - you have the right to make a copy for your own use.

what the music-industry is doing is illegal!

Is there a warning lable on the CD?

    in europe there is.

but as long as people buy the protected disks the industry will go on doing whatever they want. (even if it's against the law)

if everybody would insist on there rights they would stop that crap real fast.

so: don't buy these messed-up disks!

I read that you could take a black marker and scribble on the inner part of one of these CDs. Doing this will effectively remove the "bad data" and allow it to work in your computers drive.
