Something isn't true because you like the person who told it to you either.

    And again.

Also Clinton taking foreign money while Hillary was Sec of State.

The liberal rags aren't going to push this information and not protect Clinton when she is all they have in the upcoming election.

She used her own cell phone, had her own freaking server in her house so they could funnel favors and money without anyone ever finding out because all they had to do was destroy the information on the server and/or not grant access.

Only political hacks care about whether something is 'liberal' or 'conservative.' I care about the odds of whether a source of information based on which I quote empirical evidence or I form a view is credible or not.

First, the NYT article mentions nothing about the 90%/10%. Second, nypost is trash. Third, people must have been blind, deaf, and dumb (literally and figuratively) if they did not know that the CF was taking foreign money when HC was Secy of State.

The trouble with intensely political people like you is that you are constantly playing a game of bait and switch with ideas. You guys have no principles, no ideals, nothing you stand for other than you're pro- some political viewpoint and anti- some other political viewpoint. Everything is filtered through that lens. Your post has nothing whatsoever to do with the original post that started the conversation.

Go back and reread if you want.

You posted some trashy pub referring to some political hacks about an empirical point that was raised. I called it out for what (I think) it is. I honestly do not care much about whether you believed it was true or whether your political beliefs are close to mine. How does that matter anyway?

In life, you form judgments about whether you think a source is credible or not, get your information from that type of source, form your judgments, and you move on. I happen to think that WT (and similarly, NYP) is trash. I would not form a serious opinion about anything based on what I read in places like that.

Well so far everything that has been posted you consider a garbage source yet you don't back anything up with a source of your own. You have to be a flaming idiot if you believe anything that has a Clinton name attached to it benefits anyone but the Clintons. These are the same people that had to return 190,000 of china, sofas and many other items they stole when they left the White House.

Clintons claimed to be "dead broken" when they left the WH only to find out Hillary singed an 8 million dollar book deal the month before they left, not to mention what Bill gets as a former President.

Clinton Foundation taking money from foreign government while Hillary was Sec of State and had a private server in her house along with a private email. Yeah I'm sure that was a really secure account and server and nothing illegal was going on.

    Here.

    http://www.politifact.com/punditfact/statements/2015/apr/29/rush-limbaugh/rush-limbaugh-says-clinton-foundation-spends-just-/

Find a source to dispute this, if you don't like the sources provided then either shut up or find a source you believe is credible to dispute it. Right now all you're doing is telling people they are wrong with nothing to back up that statement.

If the rules were otherwise, private foundations would not work at all and it would be rather difficult for any charity to build an annuity income. Distibution requirements have nothing to do with administrative costs.

I couldn’t care less about the topic at hand. My statement was standalone, and still stands.

What you ‘think’ really doesn’t matter, though. What is is, what isn’t isn’t. Truth remains truth no matter how few people say it, and no matter who says it.

I totally understand your statement, though, and I’m certain that I do the same. Take MacOSRumors.com (or whatever it was called…). The entire site was built on the premise of purposely making up absolute nonsense. Not once did they tell the truth about their “rumors”, and they would delete incorrect parts of past articles once the real product came out. From their history, you can deduce that they’re probably not going to be correct about future events–or items on a different topic–but that doesn’t preclude the possibility of them being correct.

And every once in a while, it’s helpful to read what you figure is a lie for the sake of having a springboard to do the research and find the truth.

Are you kidding me?  What was your point, other than attention seeking?

Seriously, are you kidding me?  No one cares about your pointless "standalone" statements.

This is you, and your attitude to discussion:

<img class=" src="http://forums-files.appleinsider.com/images/smilies//lol.gif" />  Alright, have it your way.  Your post, about a topic you don't care about, was immediate and worth making in it's divinely standalone context, in stark contrast to mine, for which the point needs to be questioned.  Not caring is dead cool.  <img class=" src="http://forums-files.appleinsider.com/images/smilies//lol.gif" />

If you weren't so angry and grouchy about everything I'd swear this was all a comedy routine.

    For truth!  <img class=" src="http://forums-files.appleinsider.com/images/smilies//lol.gif" />

OK, I like Tim Cook and this is great..! Really, awesome.

But we shouldn´t forget about all the middle class people who donate as well...  there´s a lot of cool and compassionate people everywhere around, the rich just have more money.. More than Cook I admire my aunt who has much less money than Cook or Gates but still she pays the education for 2 african kids...
