The 16GB iPhone SKU is for just the most basic usage. It's not even a realistic configuration for anyone that uses their iOS device for work or school related purposes much less personal. How much 4K video can fit on a 16GB iPhone?
I find it strange that because I am Chinese (Hong Kong) I am able to read all the words from that Chinese text. There are some information not entirely conveyed in the post so I think I will re-translate it for you guys.
The iPhone 6s has an 16MP camera prototype originally, but then they revert it back to the 12MP version. The design is the same as iPhone 6, and a rose coloured pink is confirmed. However, I think the pinky backshell and white front covering glass looks awful. Maybe it's time to change how I define beauty in Apple's products.
The internal code for iPhone 6s is N66 and N71; the rear facing camera has 4K video recording and 240FPS slow motion video. There's a new camera mode, which says if you switched on the flash then you can take a picture followed by a video and they are both interlinked (i.e. normally when you view it, it will be a photo, but when you press and hold the display it will become a video)
There is Force Touch, but I find it not very useful. The biggest impression that the 6s gives me is the accuracy and speed of the fingerprint sensor. The phone will unlock anyway even at a very large angle. I am currently on Samsung Galaxy S6, and I felt that the speed of the fingerprint sensor between the S6 and iPhone 6 are pretty much the same, albeit a minor lead from the iPhone 6. However, when both phones are compared to 6s, it is rather pathetic. The whole process of unlocking from sleep, putting the tip of your thumb on top of the home button, requires less than a second. I would say it is faster than iPhone 6 by 30%.
A summary of what we know at the moment: 5MP front facing camera, 12MP rear facing camera, 2GB RAM, base model starts with 16GB, Force Touch, rose pink colour option (not rose gold), no external design change, protruding camera still exists. More things to be tested.
So, no information on A9 (apart from 2GB RAM). Also, shame that 16GB is still the base model. Wish it could start at 32GB (although this doesn't affect me at all as I use 128GB anyway). I hope this helps.
How would he find it useful, since you need the proper software/OS to get any real use from it! Weird comment.

Most people I know don't even shoot 1080P videos, so why would they care about how much 4K fits on a 16GB phone.
Most people don't keep a huge amount of content on their phones. What takes the most permanent space are the apps and you can put quite a bit on hem with 16GB. If you don'T have space you delete it for now and reinstall it latr.
My iPhone 5S is the 32GB version, and it filled up very quickly. I'd prefer a base of 64GB on the next iPhone's but that's not going to happen unfortunately.
I don't understand. Why didn't you buy the 64GB iPhone 5S?
You know, I actually have a 1020 that I fool around with. In terms of phones I am continually floored with the quality I can pull from this phone. The main disadvantages compared to the iPhone, even the 6, when it comes to the camera are shot to shot speed, app speed, and interface. However, technical image quality is one thing that is NOT short. The details and quality are really second to none. When you shoot the 1020 in 5 MP mode it has the same pixel equivalent size as an APS-C DSLR. If you shoot it in full MP mode the pixel size is no different than an iPad Air 2, except you can shoot it in RAW and fix any noise in post.
Of course all that being said, the only thing I use my 1020 for is the camera. It is an outdate device, the apps are so far behind, and the rest of the ecosystem is so far behind iOS it isn't even funny. I use my iPad everyday, second only to my more powerful computers, rMBP and desktop, that the Lumia gets used as a specialized device.
Excuse me but the context at the time implied it was from an iPhone not some other brand. I think you would do well to qualify the equipment next time (don't mean to come across like a jerk - just a suggestion).

good point, i didn't know what kind of phone only that it clogged up my space, then after this post i asked him, knew it wasn't an iPhone since text was green, he knows i know and he found some way to reduce file size........he doesn't like it the nokia add shows someone in a concert using it and then "zooming in" well in really life it stinks will try to talk him into an iPhone.. its the mega hertz war all over again but we don't need more mp better structure and software, f stop etc and get rid of the purple haze i know its because the lens is so close to the flash
there is soo much that ? can do focus, sensor size, f stop etc etc appreciate the patients

If apple comes out with new phones with 12 megapixel camera with 4K video it will be a bigger hit than the 6/6plus.
Its a shame that there is no replacement for the Nokai 1020. Microsoft has really dropped the ball there. I don't expect Win 10 mobile to be out before November. There are some things that I really like in MS products (the ribbon in Excel and colored tabs in IE) over Apple, but I don't think they realize how important the mobile consumer field is to their long term survival.

Sounds like you actually tried the iPhone 6s ? That's much more than reading the Chinese text !
I agree, 32GB should be the base model memory, it would suit me coming from a 16GB iPhone.

I agree and the 8GB base model should be history. Unknowing people will buy it, then be frustrated by the 1-GB available for them.
No more 16GB phones please. Apple needs a big step up in storage. 64GB would be a good for a base model with 128 and 256GB for the higher end models.
Lol. If you look at the paper, 16G is printed right there. As I said before and now, no way Apple would drop 16G for 32G. That's a bad business move. Want more? Get 64 with extra $100. That's what Apple want you to do. If Apple make 32G, many 64G owners like me will drop back to it and Apple lose highe revenue. .
Good logic. Yes the jump from 16GB to 64GB will probably stay. Oh well with the higher resolution camera 64GB I'll need !

Photos are the biggest user of space on my iPhone.
I love them always being with me, but they are forcing me to delete more seldom used Apps, to take more photos.
Deleting more no longer used Apps is a job I always put aside.

No way you are getting 17 MB files from an even 8 MP camera. Even my Canon 6D makes Jpg files that are a 1/3-1/5 the size of the selfie you quote.

No brainer. I'm more skeptical about the pink iPhone rumors. I could maybe see a rose gold version but pink? Not buying it.
Fine for the ladies.
Black for those hiding their expensive iPhones from grab and run thieves.
