Senator, have you seen Amazon and the way they treat online book authors. I suggest writing a letter to Amazon if you are talking about bullies in business. I think Apple has no such plans to be the bully. Whatever happened to the idea that a better business gets the business. If Apple has a better idea and can make money from it since it is there product why can't Apple make 30% profit. Spotify and the rest had there chance and did nothing. Now the only thing they do is whine like babies. Is this what our country is coming to? Whine like a baby and the government will strike down the better business just because it had a better plan and business. That seems more unfair to Apple and consumers who happen to like Apple products. I hate Spotify so put them out of business senator. Investigate them and strike them down because I'm going whine like a baby because they are to stupid to compete.

Amazon doesn't have any large surplus of cash that the US gov't could try to extract with a large fine.

Oh please! If holding people's card details and tracking people's preferences for marketing purposes warrants an anti trust case then any company that allows you to save care details and has a marketing department is GUILY AS CHARGED! This is getting really tired. If lawyers and other legal 'professionals' or other consumer rights group want to make a name for themselves maybe they could find a better use of their time.

I didn't examine it in complete detail. I just find it strange that AI doesn't always portray these things accurately. It's centered around something specific, and each paragraph highlights a connection to that. It isn't really mentioned in the AI article.

Why would we bribe foreign governments for any reason? Speaking of that, if they accept bribes, they aren't good governments.

I think he meant "as opposed to assassinating people or invading countries".
Also, @digitalclips, Europe wants to buy a democracy for America, and the Middle East would like to use their oilmoney to put an Islamic Republic in Washington.
In other words, a world where countries interfere with others' governments without due cause (stopping crimes against humanity or responding to an aggression) is not really a world you want.

It says something that there is so much attention to Apple, who is doing so much right, while at the same time Amazon's predatory and market-shredding behavior is disregarded.
This does to show how people like Franken only have principles where goods are expensive rather than where they are cheap.

Franken, once a relentless and vocal critic of power has fallen into the same old trap as any who hold powerful positions. Power breeds corruption, no matter who is in the office.
