you're welcome. you know a lot for being 15 too. but then again, they didnt even have internet when i was in JHS, HS, or even college. (our mac lab still had LCII's...haha). i was 25 when i got my first very own computer, the revA powerbook G3.

btw, my birthday is tomorrow, and i feel sooooo old now. i'd better go start an old-timers thread or something.

I applied and got accepted, but the AppleStore I wanted to go was filled, so they wanted me to go to another Apple Store. Unfortunately, I had no means of getting to this second AppleStore daily and had to refuse.

Yeah, I think MacAddict was 11 when he first came to AI.

When I first registered at AI I was 12, a month before I turned 13.

Stinx. I was thinking about applying @ an Apple Store, but I am turning only 17 next month. And then of course I will be going to College next year, so looks like I am out of luck for working at Apple lol.

It would be, I am the only person in my school that is a Mac User and is actually interested in the company and the new hardware. I can not talk to anyone about it. I would like to be able to talk to be about selling Macs because I would be excited about it.

I could sell a Mac to a person coming into a store, yet only if they were there half-looking for a computer

This thread is really old but is it better to simply submit an application through the online Apple Job page or go into the store in person and talk with the manager?

The Apple resume page seems really unsutible for applying for a job in retail. Under the education option they have no ability to show you are a high school graduate but haven't completed, or for me started, college. Also since I am a high school senior I don't have a long list of past jobs to list. I am guesing that going and talking to people at the store is a better option. There is no way in the form to actually show you are knowledgible about Macs.

On another topic mods: why are lots of words in the this old thread blue since this feature wasn't available last year?

you did a search, didnt you?

the search terms you used are blue take a look at the URL you followed should have "highlight term1+term2, etc"

    kinda cool

i am thinking about applying to the new chestnut hill store, but as it hasn't been announced yet I don't know who to talk to about it... I need to get a resumé as well... \
