Always easier to apologize after than to ask permission before.

Youmi should be simply banned for life.

While the Chinese companies involved in this are shameless and unethical, let's not forget that Facebook and Google have done similar things.

This is the problem.. Youmi (Chinese company) did something wrong and all people blame Chinese... as if all Chinese should be killed.

Did you guys blame America on FB and Google? This is similar to Muslims...

    Translation was ab bit off:

We are sorry we got caught by Apple. But rest assured we will work with Apple and make sure we don't get caught next time.

    Lol well put.

If they do get banned for life they will just come back with a new name.

That is because it is not the only case of indecent behavior.

And unlike in the US, in China, where the government itself is behind the majority of hackings and where it itself supports shameless corporate/tech espionage, things are very murky. That is why there is a different reaction.

Yes, Google might have done it, but they didn't promise not to and they did exactly what they promised - context ads based on the info collected from users.

But those who participates in Apple iOS dev program can simply promise that, since it is an open violation of Apple's policy.

Hence equating the two would be incorrect! When you use Apple - you know that the collection of data allowed is extremely limited, but when you use Google - you know that Google collects a lot of your info that it later uses to sell ads.

Apple should ban this company forever. I am sure Youmi is very clearly about what they are doing with the malicious code. Once the affected apps and SDKs have been removed/banned, and damages have been dealt, then they can talk about helping SourceDNS with their next release. Otherwise, ban them forever.
