I think the auctions of a method to get a Free Powerbook for 10 dollars are the funiest. Is it really free if you have to pay 10 bucks. It almost seems funny to win the auction just to see what the responce is.

The best part is that a feedback section is included on the page. I wonder if it is real?</strong><hr></blockquote>
Oh, no. Those auctions are actually for information about how to get a free powerbook. I've seen some that advertise "Toshiba e740 only $199" or something similar only to see that the auction is for the URL of where to get it for cheap. eBay is becoming worse and worse. I never go there any more. Too bad because it's a great concept. I wonder who they'll sue when they go out of business (because these scammers are going to be its downfall)?
no, ebay will just go back to what it was orginally for....trading pez....that's what i have used it for...that and band posters....anything bigger and you are asking for trouble....friend at work paid for but never got a computer....was sad for her...hard lessons....me, i've bought a few pez for a friend back east and a few posters for the kids...nothing big and all have arrived safe and sound......g

Looks like it's time to dust off the cape.
