I don't think you get it, there are many investors who do not think Apple is doing fine.
As Cook's photo illustrates, many investors are troubled that Apple can not live up to the hype.
While we are on the topic of business; Eddie Cue dressed like that to go to an event where serious business was likely to be discussed??? I could care less about California casual, Eddie Cue went to this game representing Apple looking like that???
Maybe EC and TC were there as regular people, not as Apple employees, to enjoy the game. Do you really believe that serious business is likely to be discussed in the stands during the actual game?
I'm pretty sure business was involved. Don't think for a second there weren't any high profile people at the game.
NFL+Apple
These people are big, don't be surprised if they had a meeting at the Superbowl like how regular Joe's go out for dinner for a meeting.
There's something about Eddy Cue that just rubs me the wrong way. Maybe it's the way he dresses or the way he presents himself on stage but he kind of comes off as an unserious clown. I guess it doesn't help that he runs the part of Apple that seems to encounter the most issues/bugs.
It's been obvious for months now that you're hung up on Eddie Cue. He's clearly not the kind of guy you'd go out with, but I'm forced to wonder if you secretly wish you . . . oh, never mind.

I think Eddie is awesome but Rogifan has a lot of good points concerning him. I feel like every Apple service could have a manager with Eddie overlooking their work. Not like Apple can't afford the extra talent and it'll definitely pay off.

Something about you rubs me the wrong way. I am thankful Eddie is in charge instead of someone like you who does not have the skills to run an organization 1/100th the size of Apple. Yet you always have so much to say that is negative.
No. I'm the guy that expects a CEO who gets paid $100,000,000 to do his job instead of wasting time at the Superbowl. The stock is in a state of crisis and instead of going on tv/media to calm the fears he goes to the Superbowl. makes me sick.
Okay, okay... Now think of something. Maybe appearing at the Super Bowl, spending his money, having an outing with a colleague.... Maybe these are things that MOST investors would view as being reassuring. Tim Cook is a stock holder, he wants the company to succeed just as much as you do. Going to a game is him saying, "we're doing fine". Taking refuge in his office or running to the media has proven that it only incites more panic.
Get this, Cook has the nerve to sleep. He should be awake 24/7.
Let me guess, you're the same guy who when he gets pulled over for speeding says to cop "shouldn't you catching the murderer instead of pulling people over?"

No. You're the idiot who continues to repeat himself in an attempt to get people to follow your lead. You know there is nothing Tim Cook can do to stop Wall Street from manipulating Apple"s stock yet you continually carpet bomb this site with your annoying diatribes.
Why hey are you not calling out the analysts who are manipulating the stock downward? Morgan Stanley is a very good place to start. After hammering AAPL the firm's analysts are now starting to promote AAPL as good stock to have. Why has Morgan Stanley's analysts changed direction so soon after shouting doom and gloom? Apple has not released nor announced any new hardware products.

I should certainly hope he never does anything so embarrassing.

This line of argument always amuses me. So none of us can have opinions because we don't have the skills to do what Apple executives do? Or opinions are only valid if they're not negative?

No. They were in a million dollar corporate box as guests of the NFL (which they paid handsomely to be guests). The people around them in the photo wanted to get out of the boring suite to watch the game so it looks like they were taking a breaknfromnmeetings while this pic was taken. Part of their appearance was to watch the game and part of it was to not appear while they were busy meeting with NFL execs to buy rights. If Cook only showed up to take a bad iPhone pic, Apple might be in more trouble than we thought.

Let's see: talk down the stock so that it's price falls and the clients who are long AAPL lose money, then ask the same clients to buy it at the low price so that they make money? Some day you'll be able to explain the value-creation logic of this supposed 'manipulative' market strategy.

He can do whatever he wants, especially on a Sunday. Who are you to say another human being can't have fun? And who gives a shit about the stock? It's been proven time and again that Apple's stock price doesn't follow reason, it follows whatever crazy predictions Wallstreet wants to throw out about it.

Really? So every business person at the super bowl is just there to do deals and pretend like they're interested in the game and if Cook wasn't there to do deals we should be worried?

So you think appearing on television to state the obvious is how he should spend his time? You think that has any hope of impacting the heavily manipulated stock? You're a delusional mess.

And Sog, does Tim Cook not deserve a day off?

It's not becoming of long-time AI posters. Very disappointing.

I am sure a lot of people did. I certainly did.
I am guessing most of us here, however, probably don't care...
