I think copying is the mindset of Apple users. To the rest of the world outside world, they think Apple is the STANDARD. Even Google has constantly been doing changes to match the standard set by Apple. Google used to have Google Pay which is earlier than Apple Pay. Google Pay was going no where. So after Apple Pay comes out, the smart asses in Google copied it to replace Google Pay with Android Pay. So copying is not an Asian thing, even the second most respected company in the world is doing the same thing.
Meizu new Pro 6 "3d touch" is not really "3d touch" in the real sense. Its implementation is superficial, akin to "skinning" rather than a proper hardware driven "3d touch" like Apple's. It's also harder to add either "3d touch" or "additional functional" on the apps for Pro 6 because of its shallow limitation, unlike Apple's. The main purpose of Meizu adding "3d touch" to Pro 6 is really only for marketing gimmick, while the same accusation has been applied unfairly to Apple's, they are actually couldn't be more far apart in differences.

Samsung is nothing compared to Chinese copycats. The Chinese can make 99% copy of a phone including the name...MiPad and MiPhone remind you anything? Why would they want to waste money on R&D? Just wait for someone to release something first and they just make minimal modification for that to make their owns. Talking about shameless copycat, the Chinese is #1 not only on this planet but the entire galaxy and beyond!
Would be awesome if Apple threatened to pull all manufacturing from China unless ripoff Chinese copies were dealt with by the authorities there. None of this will ever happen, of course.
Actually the fact that so many companies are copying iPhones is a good thing. That just proves to the Chinese people that the iPhone is the best. You don't see copycat Samsung phones in China.
Very few buy these copycat phones. It won't even make a dent in Apple's sales in China. People worry because of the success Samsung had with copying Apple. But what made Samsung successful for a brief time was their stranglehold on large screen phones.
