    Well this is absolute bullocks. There are still a few programs that rely on quicktime as a backend for certain format support. Bleh.

    This is sad, because qui time is still rather the most useful for Windows.

I have lots of friends who use Windows exclusively; I used to be able to send them video from my Mac without worrying: they would have or could get Quicktime. Now I have to worry about the video capabilities of Windows. Bah!
    Or, you know, use a format that's universal.
