This is the one thing I agree with Trump on. We should be slapping heavy tariffs on these suppressive hypocrites until they truly open up their markets, and stop suppressing the internet and content.
Right... Give me a fracking break. HE will do no such thing even if being elected was possible; he's a small balled moron with more bluster than intelligence.
What part of "one thing" did you not understand? There is no way this twit will ever become president.

That doesn't hurt China. It hurts American consumers and businesses. Slap heavy tarrifs on things made in China and sales of Apple products would crater.
Bullshit! A sound policy wouldn't just institute tariffs but lobby for global bans on products in their "core sectors". Their economy is in serious trouble and by slamming the brakes on them would be a huge wake up call that they can no longer behave the way they do. They are trying to play on the global stage at the same time as they built walls around their own markets. They are out of their economic infancy now and need to start acting like adults. Yes, putting them into an economic spin would hurt us, short term, but it would create huge changes there. I lived there for 6 years and have been traveling there for 17 years. These clowns do not play by the rules while the world bows at their feet. They need to be slammed hard.

Well, unfortunately, he just might become President because this country is filled with uneducated idiots (regardless of how much schooling they actually received) who have no real understanding of the issues and potential solutions. Most people vote on personality and headline "got-chas", not on any deep understanding of the issues. They love the fact that Trump is a vulgar, loud-mouthed, "no-nothing". They (think they) want the system to be set on fire (at the same time they keep electing Republicans to Congress who won't vote to change campaign finance law, among other things).
Assuming he gets the nomination, Trump can win the presidency by winning Florida and Pennsylvania. Polls have gone back and forth on whether he can win Pennsylvania.
If he wins both, Dems would need 58 of 71 electoral
votes from the tossup states. If they
lost OH, they couldn't win. If they lost
VA they'd have to win all 7 others. This assumes that Utah does not vote Democratic for the first time in decades as some have surmised it will, but even if it did, that's only 6 electoral votes. But if Trump (or any Republican) doesn't win Pennsylvania, then it's over -- a Democrat will occupy the White House. The Dems have 232 electoral votes without any tossup states, which means they need only another 38. If they win Florida, that's another 29 and they only need 9 more from 8 tossup states with 71 electoral votes. If they did win Utah, they only need 3 more out of the 71 remaining electoral votes. It's almost impossible to lose. Obama did not need Florida to win the last election.
China is running roughshod over US tech companies. Where the heck is the Office of the USTR of the US government? I realize that this may sound Trumpian, but why are we taxpayers paying the salaries of these incompetent people?!
There was a time when this arm of the US government would attempt to pry open foreign markets on behalf of US technologies and companies, but they've done basically nothing at all during the past decade, except to fight for more market access for US cigarettes and coal abroad. Pathetic.
Our government is bought and paid for. Maybe Bernie has a point?!!

You realize doing this would put Apple out of business.

Bernie has said almost nothing about China. Trump has said a lot, including wanting to impose a 35% tariff.

How? Just curious why you think so.
