Apple's car charging stations can be pay-per-charge, rather than pre-paid, like Tesla. This will be better for people who only take one or two long trips a year and charge mainly at home.
I am hoping this is the start of something big. At least from the sense of environment perspective. Given how genius Apple has managed its supply chain, Apple will / should know how much energy it is being used to produce all of its component.
So Apple can now resale the total amount of Energy to grid, for all its energy usage, everything from their own to 3rd party DC, Cloud, Office, Retail, Manufacturing and may even Transportation. A Net 100% Renewable Energy usage Company.
It should also a Net positive results for their Capital. Solar Farm is very capital intensive ( but pocket money for Apple ), and Apple putting their cash in good use.
Yeah, I called this. Apple has made some MASSIVE investments in this area, they have the capital to do so, and would make sense for them to resell, in so many ways. This could be the start of something massive.
Reference to where you previously posted that this would happen, please?
