Apple on Monday released a minor update to the iTunes application to address bugs, including Apple Music "up next" problems with songs less than a minute long.

According to Apple's release notes, iTunes version 12.4.2 for OS X fixes the issue that prevented iTunes Music songs less than a minute long from buffering properly, causing iTunes to stop playback.

Earlier Monday, Apple released updates for iOS 9, OS X 10.11, watchOS 2, and tvOS. Apple's iTunes version 12.4.2 is a 110MB download, and is available with the rest of the day's updates from the Mac App Store.

The last update for iTunes came in early June, when Apple squashed a variety of small problems and bugs, including compatibility issues with VoiceOver in OS X.

iTunes is out of control.  Can't stand it.  Just putting music and videos, not synced, from two MacBook Pros into two devices is an unmitigated nightmare.

Nah.  My issues are the same ones many others complain about in the Apple Community page.

iTunes never should have been a single program that serves as the hub for all of the IOS syncing functions it does plus your media library unless they are going to spend time on it to make it work well.

Has no one else found that this "fix" breaks more than it fixes?
