    The article's statement is false :

    "In fact, this function is tied to the Workout app's two swimming modes — "Pool Swim" and "Open Water Swim" — which also lock and blank the screen."
    Tapping on the screen in such a situation would bring the display back on. Also, swimming workouts do not switch off the display. Raise to work still works on the Apple Watch while doing a swim workout.
