Cougar would probably be after Panther. Dunno about Lion and Tiger...their names don't have the right ring. Ocelot would be funny. Leopard seems too easily confused with Jaguar. Lynx would be real funny, as evidence above.

I'm guessing after 10.4 we will get a new naming scheme.
And as I said before, Pumas and Cougars are the same thing...
Panther sounds pretty cool! I hope they actually do use it. If they didn't use a cat name, then I think Chimera would be pretty cool.

Well Pantera Onca or Panthera Onca (well i should know how to write it in latin..) basically IS jaguar
A. Pumas, Mountain Lions, and Cougars are technically the same thing - so unless Apple is not up to stuff on cat lineage - I'd say all of those are officially out.
B. Believe it or not, that big white kitty could be real (though I don't know if it's alive in that photo - could be stuffed). My Dad's cat *moment of silence for recent passing* was ~22 lbs at his height - about 2/3 as big as the one in the picture I'd say.
C. I say Panther, then Ocelot. Someone said the latter was already used (in an earlier thread) but I fail to see which version used it.

How about 10.3 Fat Cat?
That can't be real.

They could have Sabertooth on the cover of the box goin "Argh Wolvie! We meet again!".
I heard Ocelot originally, which I like a lot.
