here is what Stevie is going to give us
It will be groundbreaking like they said not earth shaterring. It will start us back on the right foot again. Key word start.
I am driven to believe that at his convention their wont be all that people suspect.
I think there will be an anouncement that mac is know switching from Moltorala to another company, probably IBM.
They will not annouce a G5 because there never will be one.
We will get an even faster processer that will come out in line with the new powermacs which will boost performance to around 1.4-1.6 or higher the lower model will carry a 1.0 or a 1.2. They will be shipped with new cases that will be bluish in color (IBM Blue) and the case will follow the previous design of the other models.
There you have it thats the basics of what we will be getting nothin more nothin less.

Is that proverb extending to someone spelling in a language not native to them?

I suppose Apple will stay at G4 forever then. I'm curious.. what exactly does "there is no G5" mean? Theories, ting5?

Unless Apple goes out of business or switches to an x86 cpu then there has to be a G5 coming. All it means is a fifth generation cpu based on PPC architecture.
Whatever cpu it is and whoever makes it, it will still be a G5.

So, would you pick somebody who doesn't spell English well to explain a novel to you? There are so many important sentences the person might have misunderstood. If I were looking for inside dirt that I know has to have passed along the grapevine, I wouldn't accept versions that seem to have been mangled at least once along the way. There's a game most of us have played called "telephone," and you know you need be careful after the kid with the accent has passed it on.
It's nothing personal. We just know that the organization involved is primarily an English-speaking one. When listening for game rumours from Japan, especially secretive Nintendo, misspellings have a precisely opposite effect on believability, especially if you're used to the usual ways native speakers of Japanese mangle English.

Well, what's the rest of the story. Plenty a time, nothin else happenin'
...there was also no 605e or 606 or 607 and on and on.
People, Apple is not married to the G'X' naming convention.
Hell, they could call and IBM PPC and X5 or Paisley Processor just because they want to.
There will be a future chip, however. And that is all that is certain.

Well, thank heaven Apple is dumping Moltorala at any rate. I can't stand those guys!

That's not confirmed.

I kid. "Moltorala," y'know.
It's late ...
Maybe Steve's plans to take over the world are coming together sooner than we thought...
