    So is the 10.1" iPad a 9.7" model with smaller bezels and larger display? Or perhaps a taller display with no Home button.

    Since it's less than 1/2", I would wager on the smaller bezels. Keeping the chassis the same would probably be beneficial.

    Not happy Microsoft charges $$ to use Office apps on any tablet >=10" diag. (Then again, I haven't had a need to use any of them on iOS.)
    I wonder if this will mark the start of Apple charging for the "iWork" suite on iOS.
