Poor Apple. I'm not going back to cable. Sorry. I'll just use hulu and netflix. I don't even watch TV like that. i have the shows I like and thats it.
Guess you don't watch sports..watching the NLCS right now and that's not possible without cable.

What Apple wanted to do, Dishnetwork Sling and Playstation Vue already did. Amazon is basically following trend already established by other two.
With Hulu hot on their heels… Eddy Cue botched that one.

The amount of jobs cord cutting will kill will be unmeasurable. All those pointless stations I have never watched that skim cents per month from my cable bill will be cut. So sad.
s  Probably not in the way you imagined.  These are those pointless 'stations.'

But look at the 'bundling' to change... instead of Cable/Internet/Phone for $99(33/33/33)/month (the 4 flyers in my mailbox every month), it will be
$60 for Internet, and $25 for basic Cable, and $15 for Phone.

I recently dropped Netflix in favor of Amazon Prime video. Amazon doesn't have anywhere near the library Netflix had, but I can download shows and movies to my iPad to watch later anywhere & that's a big deal for me.

I find that incredible. MLB used to be a popular sport. I even get broadcast soccer now. Soccer. And loads of live golf. What's next? Olympic bus riding?

Playstation Vue is good for sports as well.

Or you could just by a HDHomeRun Extend and run Channels on your ATV and be done with it all.

I built my own using TVHeadend and TVHClient on my ATV. Just like a cable box, total cost ~$100.

Apple isn't really excelling at anything anymore. It has rapidly become a boring, hollow brand with no real vision.
