I do find it strange that the company that was known for innovating is now behind in many many ways.
Apple can answer this by making a large touch screen that connects to any existing Mac, so users aren't buying a new machine, they're buying a touch screen display. That'd be the fastest/easiest/most innovative way to respond to the surface studio. They have the existing technology.
As a pro creative user, I do have a shopping cart on newegg with a PC build that I just haven't pulled the trigger on.
