When did you meet him? Just recently? He seems like a really nice guy, and all, and he made a lot of promises in the beginning, but face it, he hasn't accomplished much of anything after 2,000+ years on the job, except to propagate a bunch of false prophets.

My read was different.....
when asked what prompted his change of
attitude/mind he responded, 'I found Jesus'. This phrasing can be
interrupted several ways.
after being read the riot act for
countless 'disagreeable' comments, being humbled and humiliated over a
period by people, that I am sure he like others respects, he could have had a
'come to Jesus' moment! Where he honestly reevaluated some of his
rhetoric and decided he should play nice with his Applecentric hobbyist.
If
that is the case, I salute him! If his religious sensibilities inspired
him, to each their own. Whatever it is attributable to, working on one's self is admirable. And will continue to make this person a more thoughtful contributor!
[...] Just look at the bottom line numbers on the most successful companies and you'll know the best places to work.
While I'm sure many companies with positive financial results also have happy employees, I don't think you can use financial success as a way of predicting employee job satisfaction. I know of three companies that have chosen to cut staff as a way of controlling costs. The people that remain work under more difficult conditions. The reduction in workforce is having a negative impact on the final product, and as a result the employees are feeling less positive about their work.
At least one of the three posted much rosier numbers this year compared to last, but the employees are less happy than they were a couple years ago.
