     I suspect this "event" has been carefully planned and choreographed to minimize the consumer perception that the Note 7 itself had any design flaws.

    I highly bet they will use this to promote what they have done *better* with the Note 8!

    Apple builds anticipation and excitement by announcing a product reveal event. Samsung does the same by revealing why their products burst into flames. Cool.
