Can you recommend a good PC Forum?
First, sorry to ask this here. Im a Mac man to the end. And Ive learned so much at Appleinsider. But my son has a PC and he's champ at Counter Strike but can't even plug in the computer. I know many of you are dual platformers; can you recommend a site that is rather a PC counterpart to AI? I want him to learn how to diagnose and fix problems on XP. God knows how important that is on Wintels. I was surprised that PC World didnt have forums. (that I saw anyway)
Thank you in advance.

By the way, the first time I saw Ars mentioned in these forums, I thought is was an attempt to say "ass" without getting censored. Don't tell anyone.
Finally, it seems to me that the support of the Apple community on the 'Net is way beyond our numbers compared to the WinTel users. Is my impression accurate?
The Arsians are a good bunch.

I don't know about their forum, the their news sucks.

That's my favorite PC forum.
BTW, [h]ardforums is pretty childish, Ars and Anandtech are alright.
<strong>I personally won't go back to Tom's hardware for any reason. Not after he or his lackey's photoshopped a pic to get a 'scoop', not to mention lots of hits.

Can you tell me more about that? Thanks!

I have more posts there than I do here.
Seriously, there are a lot of very intelligent people there and I've never had a question go unanswered. Make sure to read the posting guidelines first though...they have some specific rules that they sctrictly enforce.
I will read their posting rules, Macaddict, but I'll do a lot more reading than posting. It took me a year to post here. Rumors got me hooked but now I read more for the support.
Sorry, inside joke
