Updating to Sierra

I currently own a 15" Macbook Pro (Mid 2010) with 8Gb of memory and a Pro G6 SSD running Yosemite 10.10.5. It is my home computer and I use it to manage our finances, music, photos, and occasional photoshopping. What are the compelling reasons for me to upgrade my system to Sierra?

    Biggest pro: Better exploit security. Compressed memory.

    Biggest con: make sure that your apps have Sierra versions. There have been a lot of changes in the kernel since Yosemite.
