I do not know why people here hate Microsoft so much.
It is clear that OneNote is the best note taking in this world and if you use Office 365 it worth to use it.
All reviews outside Apple related web site shows it it best app.
Oh I don't know for sure, perhaps some of us have been around long enough to know everything Microsoft has was ripped off from Apple. That can leave a bad taste in one's mouth.
I know that company founded in inovation by one who liked to visit others' ideas, like the GUI and the mouse. The rip-offs are back and forth. They trade blows dude. Some examples: Finder Sidebar appears two years after XP. MS steals triangles though. A mistake as + and - for collapse/ expande folders was better. The Path Bar.  Minimizing windows into app icon in the taskbar. Windows had backup first. The time machine though is easier to use. Windows had an Alt-tab since version 3 in 1990. Mac adds one in 2003. Am not even sure mac lets you hide that dock yet. There are features MS stole as well from Apple but I am not concerned with them here as I wanted to refute your claim that one had stolen  everything it has  from the other.
