On a another note, this actually looks like a real 3D CAD drawing (not a schematics) I am personally use to seeing. verse everything we have been seeing to date. This does look like something that would come from Apple verses some guy in mom's basement playing Google Stetchup.
Is that proof of its authenticity?
    Asking for a (skeptical) friend.

Tomorrow there will be another industry insider with a claim of an iPhone schematic that shows the finger print reader on the side of the device. Lets just keep throwing shit at the wall and see what sticks. Eventually, you'll get it right so you can claim you were right as always!
Nah, tomorrow the large area on the back will be claimed to be a palm reader.  It unlocks your iPhone and tells you how long you'll live and whether you'll have strong relationships.

This was so obvious I predicted it. A fingerprint scanner on the middle of the back of the phone? Really? Has to be the worst design idea I've heard in recent times. And you know how to make it worse? Put your rear camera right beside it and give the housing the same shape as the scanner—surely that'll fuck with user's minds. It'll certainly distract them from the fact that they are holding a potential grenade.
Agreed. Already in reviews of the latest Samsung they note that because the fingerprint sensor is right next to the camera that theyre accidentally putting their fingers over the camera and smudging it. Stupid design decision -- yet oddly these same reviewers give a glowing review based on how the device looks rather than how it actually works. As we know, design is also how a thing works.
To be fair if design was about how it works only Apple's products would also look a lot different. An Apple TV Remote with a glass touchpad, that if you drop on a typical wooden floor, smashes to pieces. Not good design. Speaking to those tech journalists who gave the S8 glowing reviews: they are retards with 6-month memory spans. They are barely qualified to use the products they are reviewing.
Glass breaks when dropped -- design can't fix clumsy. I have an issue with the remote design, but the touchpad is not it.

Design can't fix clumsy? It's design's job to account for users dropping a TV remote, especially a slippery one. The housing should be rubberised, at least.

It's a cutout for a digital clock. Flip the iPhone and you immediately have an alarm clock. Boom! Schematic rumour solved!

I see a wired charging pad on that phone. There's not a single phone made by anyone that has wireless charging. That's marketing B.S. It's still wired charging. If you have to put your phone onto something that's plugged into the wall, it's wired. Just because the connection is different doesn't magically make it wireless. That would be like if Wifi only worked if your phone was sitting on top of your Wifi router. See how dumb that is. It's as B.S. as so called Hover boards that have wheels and don't hover!!! As for all these fake pictures being thrown up onto sites. It's just more FAKE NEWS.

That's different than citing the existing of a glass touchpad as a fault. The presence of a glass tocuhpad is not the problem. Glass will always be vulnerable.

I never said that. My comment was implying the design of the remote itself needs work.
