We're trying to figure it out ourselves too.
Things they are a changin....
Did I miss a meeting or something?
Wow.
hahahehehahaheheaheha
And a tip to Slash (of G'n'R fame?), it's "formerly of blah" not "formally of blah".
Here's hoping the new masters keep the current look, don't know if I dig their scheme and I certainly don't like the name "slaptech".
Fun stuff.
I have absolutely no clue, if this will change something in the administration of these forum. Perhaps the new head will help us, more than in the past.
Come on, Slaptech??? We're not a porn site for chrissakes!
Our little cocoon has been invaded by the demons of reality and economics, FIE!
Let's hear from some of the new head honchos!
Hopefully this means the forum administrators (here's hoping they remain Jon and Amorph (well, at least Amorph )) have better access to the dirty underworkings of the boards so we can get problems fixed faster.
OI might just get a bit busier again... I might actually have to post there instead of just lurking.
This must have been the long rumored vBulletin change.

Actually, as far as I've known, this has nothing at all to do with the vBulletin change. I've been working under the impression that things would be going as they had been. In fact, we had been discussing ways of using the PHP back end to build a new front page and ways to display articles and new kinds of discussions.
So, we'll have to scratch those ideas now.
I guess this is for the better?

I'm investigating.
Will inform y'all as I get the info.
It seems that the forums will stay largely the same., at least, on first brush.
