Iphone charging sound

Got the iphone X and a wireless charger. 
Now every time I get my phone to do something and put it back on the wireless charger it beeps.

THERE ARE NOT SETTINGS TO TURN THAT THING OFF...
APPLE, FIX YOURE GARBAGE!

    A very annoying normal behaviour.  I want to be able to turn it off other than putting the entire phone on vibration
