Will be nice to finally move my Mac Mini with Fusion Drive up to the current OS. Wonder what the hold up was?
It appears to be that APFS was built without the automatic defragmentation features HFS+ has for hard drives, automatically defragmenting all files under 20MB. This release added defrag for hard drives to APFS.
Without it, Fusion Drives and pure rust drives would have suffered.
