I remember seeing NeXTStep computer at CSUN in 1993 and I was simply blown away by how beautiful it looked and wondered why Windows 3.0 couldn't be that gorgeous. That impression forever etched on my mind and when MacOS X came out, I decided to switch to Apple.

Yup! NeXTSTEP is better than or rivals the beauty and usability of today’s OSes. It is the ancestor of every operating system Apple has today. Mach+BSD+ObjC Frameworks.

The NeXTcube was an industrial design masterpiece. You can see some of its design in every Mac Pro except for the 2019 model.
