    Apple may discontinue the iPad Mini too! It has been a long time especially if you are looking at it from the SoC viewpoint. So Apple could be running low on their inventory of A8s as well as their LPDDR3 RAM modules. They certainly will not order more to be manufactured since it is old technology.
