No offense, but when I was in US History 11 (last year), I was writing 20 page analytical papers on things like the cause the Great Depression. Your class sounds like a joke, and I kinda wish I was in it

Disturbing? My profile says it all. I think the man is a living legend and a genius. There is nothing wrong with being on his side or learning about him. It is just like a legendary coach of a football team. Take coach Paterno for example. he is a FOOTBALL coach and people in my town call him Saint Joe.</strong><hr></blockquote>

See, now why can't you take the good example of a Raider's fan? That's mindless worship at its best. Jobs may be a star of a CEO, but he's still a tech CEO, boring and completely unsuitable as the object of juvenile infatuation. At this rate you'lll be an accountant before too long. sad.

    Steve who?

Wasn't he the guy who invented sliced bread or something? Or a pizza box/kleenex box... something like that...

Seems ok, more of a biography then the prompt.

It needs a new subject not just a new start. Maybe Bill Gates? How to take someone else's idea and make yourself the richest man in the world. There's a lesson worth learning. Jobs is just a footnote next to Gates.

Not all of us are as perfect as you. Maybe I should reach for the sky and DeVry again. <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" /> </strong><hr></blockquote>

Mr. Macintosh, in the future spare yourself some grief and just keep such divisive, personal things like your Jobs paper to yourself.

Ideally, you should think you could post thing here and get some genuine help and constructive criticism. But that's where you would be wrong.

You see, lately AppleInsider has simply become too damn combative, rude and populated by ill-mannered, smart-mouthed motherfückers who have absolutely nothing better to do than work on being even more of an unlikable dick.

It's as if getting rid of Fireside Chat has caused all that rancor and bile which used to be pretty much contained there to seep out and bleed into the entire boards.

Nothing here anymore is simple, clear cut or friendly.

I can count on two hands the people here who I DON'T want to throw off a steep, craggy cliff or kick in the scrotum with all my might on a routine, ongoing basis.

You're a braver man than I, Mr. Macintosh...

    Masochistic, but brave.

Yikes, should have poked my head in here earlier it seems.

    Cool it everyone.(Macintosh included)

EDIT - Pfft. On second thought, let's just stop the bleeding and move along.
