    OmniWeb open to a blank page. I have safari to open to my bookmarks library. I thought that was a good idea from them.



    I've never been able to find a start page that is really useful. I've always wondered what all the squawking was about with "web portals" and that nonsense a few years ago. none of them got it right, and they all followed the same basic layout/structure anyway. Maybe there is a useful portal out there that goes by a different model, but the ones out there I'm aware of are just cluttered, inane adware.

    with Pith i now open with about 6 pages....AI, maccentral, macminute, google news, apple and any other random window i had open when i quit safari that last time it was open....g

    I don't think there is a url. If you examine the larger verion of that image, you'll see that the address starts with "file:///". So, it must have just been a local page on Steve's Mac.
