Looking to capture its share of the all-wireless earbud market pioneered by Apple and Bragi, JBL at CES showcased four new pairs, two of which are out now.

The first of these is the Endurance Peak, intended for serious fitness and sports enthusiasts. It's IPX7 waterproof and equipped with earhooks, helping to keep the buds in place, much like Apple's Powerbeats3.

On its own the product has 4 hours of battery life, but a rugged case delivers up to six more charges, for a total of 24 hours of runtime. Other features include touch controls, and blue, black, and red color options. JBL is selling the Endurance Peak for $120.

The other shipping model is the UA True Wireless Flash, done in partnership with Under Armour. While also IPX7-rated, its signature features are TalkThru and AmbientAware, designed to help people like runners, cyclists, and e-skaters hear ambient noise for safety reasons.

The $170 Flash has 5 hours of native battery life with five extra charges through an included case. One of the benefits of the UA partnership is that each pair comes with a 12-month Map My Run Premium subscription.

Coming this spring is the Tune120TWS, a "budget" option priced at $100. Its battery is rated at 4 hours like the Endurance Peak, but the included charging case provides just 12 hours. White, blue, black, green, yellow, and pink colors will be available.

More advanced is the Reflect Flow, due this summer. JBL is promising 30 hours of "combined" playback, supported by a 20-hour charging case. Like the Flash it will have TalkThru and AmbientAware.

The Flow will sell for $150 in black, blue, lime, or tea shades.

Where to buy

JBL's Endurance Peak earbuds can be ordered from JBL directly or from third-party sellers on Amazon.com for $119.95. The UA True Wireless Flash headphones are also available through JBL, with free 2nd Day Air shipping and a price tag of $169.95.
