I am nowhere 'extremely fit' and my resting heart rate is almost dead on at 56bpm. Working out I hit 115~120 (I'm not a zealot!) and after cool down, it's quickly back to 56bpm. I could afford some more extremeness in my fitness. LOLOL!

Tachycardia is an observation not a diagnosis.

It would be nice to know what the person was doing when they had the high heart rate. Sitting in a chair? Running? Etc.
