Same here--still using the optical. I've gotten into the habbit of using the arrow keys to scroll...even on my work PC which has a 2-button mouse w/scroll wheel!
mine is with my friends iBook because he was too cheap to buy one and a logitech took the place of it several months ago. it wasn't the second button that won me but the scroll wheel. Its nice to have my left hand ready to type and my right hand on the mouse and be able to get around to things.
it is a must for gaming if you want to be good...if it wasn't for 2 buttons, i wouldn't be so good at ghost recon...i mean i could EASILY beat anyone here (i'll reinstall it someday had to delete it for space to dub DVD's)
I have a friend of mine with a render farm who still uses the one-click mouse that came with his Mac towers....I have -no- idea why he doesn't use a multi-button mouse....blows my mind!
Gimme multi-button mice....the one that came with my Blue & White G3 is still nestled in the lower front handle where I put it the day I replaced it with a multi-button mouse. Shhhhhh, it's sleeping!

The cord's just long enough for me to pull it out periodically.

And what about the mouse?
...I'm still using the puck and I would love an optical...
I have 2 sitting on my desk behind in a brown package.
