MOH does look tempting, considering I am a HUGE fan of FPS's. BTW, I already have Ghost Recon for xbox, and I play it on LIVE, fun fun fun...

Personally I'm a sucker for car games, of which Gran Turismo 3 for PS 2 is the best. Sega GT 2002 for XBox is good too, but not as good as GT3. Project Gotham blows. Splinter Cell for Xbox is also pretty cool.

I much prefer FPS games on consoles, though the bottom line is that I hate FPS games. If you're going to buy a computer game, get one that is mouse dependent, otherwise you should get something similar for a console.

Starcaft is too formulaic in multiplayer. War3 is less so, but the Myth series takes the cake as the most fun RTS series ever made.

MOH was quite good I must say...

But I vote for Baldurs Gate I... One of my favorites.. And it plays quite good in Classic.. That game truly 0wnz... And if your into storyline, monsters and that kind of stuff, this is your game!

And if you into it, I will also recommend Civilization III, niiiice game with lots and lots of gameplayhours in it!

JKII is quite stunning, but mostly if your a real Star Wars geek...

And B&W is also quite a good game, but not the one with the most varied gameplay.

check out the review of MOO3. i'm totally whoring myself out for this game, but it should be really good.

plus it will support seemless network play between the PC and Mac versions, like Warcraft et. al.

'course if you're a twitch junky, this probably won't cut it.

Speaking of TBS, what are people's opinions of HOMM IV? I've heard the AI is God-awful but Contraband released an AI patch for it a short time ago. I'm debating getting that or waiting for MOO3.

The other gamer in the house has lately been addicted to Clive Barker's Undying. In addition to the original game, there are lots of downloads of fan-created add-ons resulting from a contest. Dark, creepy, bloody. Fun!

Has anyone out there played Alida? I just saw a news blip that an OS X version is due out next week. It's from an Australian company: Dejavu Worlds.

Black&White is a blast, if you have lots of time and don't get disturbed while playing god.

Well, I'm seriously thinking about MOH:AA. Then, I will definitely get BG and BGII as well - later of course.

Ah, if you are considering Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, or Baldur's Gate II, play them in that order. Bladur's Gate I has the oldest engine on it, so if you play it after it's sequel, it will come out looking like crud to you. Definately go for one of these three though. They are all quality games.
