    That may be so, but they sure as hell slurp as much highly personal information as they can for their own use, analyse it, infer from it and then sell *that* information.
    Google do sell information about you, inferred from your personal information, to anyone.
    You are SO misinformed. As almost everyone who has done a modicum of research knows Google does not sell your data under any circumstances. Period.
    End of story.

    What's worse if you even presumably read the OP's link before posting that silliness. 

    You may have legitimate reasons for not wanting to receive ads for products/services that you have expressed an interest in, or at least curious about. You might have legitimate concerns about your personal data being stored someplace "in the cloud" or on a server. You wouldn't be the only one whether it's Google or Microsoft or Apple. There is no legitimate concern about Google selling your personal data. 

    Your claim is so FUD-ish, yet repeated over and over leading some readers to assume it must be fact.
