Hit 'em ever harder is my opinion. We're not playing hardball yet, merely softball.

The IP rights is one of the most important issues and of course the US should not budge a single inch on it.

Who wants to agree to a deal where you agree to allow the other party to continue to steal from you?

Whatever tariffs China introduced recently, let's double that and hit 'em again.

Small items like cases or chargers are not a big deal in my opinion. If the average consumer has to pay a little bit more for a few accessories, then it's worth it, because the long term goal is much more important than anything that will happen in the short term.
Yep, Trump should triple the tarrifs and also apply them to all items including iPhones.

China has millions and millions of civilians in concentration camps making consumer goods as slaves. Love it! Theft of all software, film, music, art and technology design? Of course, this is the true Confucius ideal! Rape of worldwide natural resources and wildlife? Better for China's penis enlargement tea. Nuclear missile silos on hundreds of stolen coral reefs? Better way to show the world they are the rightful steward of humanity.
You're not called Hyper for nothing I see!

What utter nonsense you really are a Trumpet.

China can easily can around a US tariff increases by devaluing the Yuan. If that doesn’t work and you really push them up against the wall so to speak they can take the US economy down with it by tanking the US dollar.
Yes, that --- or they could simply start dumping U.S. treasuries.   And now that we need to sell a $1Trillion a year of treasuries (thanks to the TaxScam), the U.S. would drown in its own debt.

But, it's all a diversion anyway:   Trump needs to distract us from the corruption probes into him and his businesses as well as from his attacks on our democracy.  He has an election coming up and China has made it clear that they will not be bullied or intimidated.  He'll put on a show for his cult -- then blink.

The part that Trump and his cult don't understand is:   Industry didn't move to China because it likes yellow skin and slant eyes -- or because China stole anything.   It moved there because China does it better and cheaper than the U.S. can.   Protectionist tariffs can't change that or defeat that.  The Biggest Loser is about to lose again.

China would be destroying their own economy first. They are FAR more dependent on trade with the US than the other way around.

Is that why our industry moved over there?

Apple has been shortsighted for many years, manufacturing the vast majority of its devices in China. Some might say they were driven by greed.  China production costs are so low it was easy to keep expanding manufacturing there. But Tim Cook, the uber-supply chain expert should have seen the mess they were creating relying exclusively on Chinese production for their highest revenue products.  Imagine if there ever was a war with China? That would terminate Apple production.  Rather than focusing on how thin and beautiful Apple products are, Tim and company had better move quickly on diverse production sites. Including manufacturing in the USA.  There’s no reason Macs can’t be produced in the US with highly advanced robotics at a cost similar to Chinese production. Apple has been driven too much by quarterly Wall Street numbers. They need to get strategic about manufacturing. And fast!!
Wrong! Apple contracted out manufacturing to Foxconn. Foxconn decided to build iPhone in China not Apple.
Wrong! Apple is not outsourcing while looking away. Apple contracts a company that manufactures in a variety of  places, and is very, very much influenced by Apple’s supply chain strategy and idea’s. Guess why they went setting up a plant in the US....

And, as Trump diverts everybody's attention, his personal but taxpayer funded attorney announces he is going after the U.S. intelligence and justice departments for investigating (oops!  I meant to say "spying on") his boss.

Now we know all we need to know about the TrumpTradeWars:  "Here's the bad guy!  Look over here!"

Trump's been using diversion & distraction tactics since his campaign.   How many more times will the American people fall for it?

Taiwanese. Terry, the CEO, is now even running for Taiwan presidency. But I am pretty sure he is already in Chicom’s pocket. China can shut down Foxconn with one phone call.
