Apple has provided participants of its developer beta program the fourth test build of iOS 12.4, along with the second build of macOS Mojave 10.14.6, and third builds of watchOS 5.3 and tvOS 12.4.

The latest builds can be dowloaded from the Apple Developer Center by participants in the scheme, or as a software update for Macs already enrolled in the beta program. Those taking part in the public Apple Beta Software Program will typically gain access to its own build very shortly after the developer variant is distributed.

The fourth iOS 12.4 build is 16G5046d, replacing third build 16G5038d. The third tvOS 12.4 developer beta is build 16M5545c, up from 16M5537c for the second build. The newest third build of watchOS 5.3 is 16U5545c, upgrading from the second build, 16U5537b. The second macOS 10.14.6 beta is build number 18G48f, replacing the first build which was number 18G29g.

The first build of macOS was released on May 15, while the most recent builds of watchOS, tvOS, and iOS were issued on May 28.

No real changes in the functionality of the operating systems have been found so far, suggesting the releases are more one of performance improvements, bug fixes, and preparing for the introduction of upcoming products and services.

Apple is also currently running developer betas for iOS 13, tvOS 13, watchOS 6, and macOS 10.15 concurrently to the earlier betas.

AppleInsider, and Apple itself, strongly recommend users don't install the betas on to "mission-critical" or primary devices, as there is the remote possibility of data loss or other issues. Instead, testers should install betas onto secondary or non-essential devices, and to make sure there are sufficient backups of important data before updating.
