Some of the demo'd Facetime features, example Attention Correction, will presumably still appear in a later update.

This release was idiotic. Are all the new bugs fixed? How about the idiotic interference of the three-finger tap with the interfaces of other apps like soft-synth/MIDI music apps?

Still no Apple News+ in UK? A tab for it has appeared in betas if Catalina and 13/13.1 so assumed it might launch today. Anything you’ve heard AppleInsider team?

And what’s the news on HomepodOS update? No sign of that on the Home app

Does any one think Share ETA is the most creepiest features in iOS 13? Who would need a constant notification about your arrival. Except of course, insecure husband or controlling wife or your probation officer? I get there when I get there, damn it!
A tad narrow minded on the potential use cases.
Hope you are not narrow minded and got a laugh out of it, it meant to be a joke! I painted a pretty awful case scenario though haha

Was sure hoping I would be able to create a Shortcut that detects motion (via an existing HomeKit motion sensor) and be able to create alerts / messages...but this is still locked down to scenes. Boo.

When using Messages, when typing in a friends name to start a new message, I see a ton of 'group text' options.  I really just want to see the individual contact name.

how can the group text suggestion be turned off?

13.1 is much much better. Fewer bugs. I can tell after using it for only a few minutes.

To me, it's not about control because the people in my life don't try to control me.

When I'm running late, it's just polite to let people know when I'm going to arrive so they don't need to worry and can plan, especially if traffic is really bad. Oh, he's going to be 15 minutes late -- let's go over and get a coffee while we wait. Oh, it just changed to half an hour. Let's just start without him.

I use it on Waze when picking up someone from airport. And kid from school. The beauty is no need to call them if I am late and stuck in traffic.

There is a difference between "Demand ETA" and "Share ETA." The former would be creepy if it were a thing. The latter is an opportunity to be courteous to others who may be waiting around for your arrival. Letting them know when to expect you can relieve anxiety if they're depending on you for something, or letting them know you're delayed can allow them to decide for themselves how best to use their time rather than wasting it in a holding pattern because 'you get there when you get there.'

iPadOS 13.1 downloaded fine for my iPad Pro.  For my iPhone XS Max,  it kept on saying 13.0 was the most recent update until I went to bed last night.  Today,  It keeps on saying that it encountered an error trying to access software updates
