Just noticed the new split-up programs from the old iTunes. Is it no longer possible to use ipods to listen to podcasts?
Nope, still can. Download the ep in the Podcasts ep as you would, and iPod syncing is done from the Finder now. We've spoken about this before, but will be talking about it again soon.
I've managed to figure it out now, but not without some hitches that remain. The most recent one is that I see my podcasts in the ipod's podcast section, but all of the individual episodes also appear in the "music" category of my ipod. I used to have a few albums' worth of music in that category but now when searching by "artist" I see all of the podcasts thrown in there as well. Frustrating....
