Perhaps attitudes towards camera-bearing eyewear really have changed in the years since Google Glass was intro'd.
In terms of privacy comfort, much depends on which company/brand the glass made by - and how they approach this. I know Apple has been working on AR for quite some times, it will be interesting to see how they design the glass, will it be another AirPod level when it first released? As I remember it was criticized too dorky but now it's praised for its elegance. So I don't think, by Apple philosophy, they are gonna make it subtle. It will be on your face, easily recognizable and people, apart from hardcore fans, will hate it at first.
