Sunday, March 8th marks International Women's Day and Apple Music is not holding back its support. A new curated playlist called "Women of Choice" was made by Lady Gaga and features her new single "Stupid Love."

A dedicated section of Apple Music has also been created to showcase music from women across the industry. Playlists, albums, and Beats1 radio shows are all shown off here.

In addition to all of the Apple Music content, Apple has a dedicated section in the Apple TV app just for women leads and directors in television. This content features shows from Apple TV+, HBO, and Amazon Prime Video and shows off each show with custom artwork.

Apple also featured a new video in its "Behind the Mac" campaign with audio from Beyonce's "Flawless" and images of women throughout the entertainment industry.

This International Women's Day, we are proud to celebrate the women using their creativity for something bigger than themselves. Meet the women making history #BehindtheMac, set to @Beyonce's anthem ***Flawless. #IWD2020

Apple's own website has been taken over by the video and the images from it. Navigating the page will allow you to click on each image and see more information about the women depicted.

Apple is well known for its push for equality and diversity, and it is often reflected by the amount of work they put into annual celebrations like Sunday's International Women's Day.

CEO Tim Cook tweeted out his support as well:

Today we honor the women who drive us forward, and we celebrate the generations whose shoulders they stand on. Every woman deserves to be safe and treated equally. #InternationalWomensDay

As the gender that has done the oppressing throughout history (and modern day in several nations), it is unnecessary to celebrate the status quo. In the US women only won the right to vote in 1920. In Kuwait it was 2005.

Don’t forget to do a 20 minute walk, run or wheelchair workout for the Apple Watch Limited Edition Challenge. Yet another way Apple is celebrating (or, at least, recognizing).
