Apple has moved on to its fifth round of developer betas, releasing new builds for testing of macOS 10.15.4, iOS 13.4, iPadOS 13.4, and tvOS 13.4.

The newest builds can be downloaded via the Apple Developer Center for those enrolled into the test program, or via an over-the-air update on devices running the beta software. Public betas typically arrive within a few days of the developer versions, via the Apple Beta Software Program website.

This is the fifth generation of developer betas, following the fourth round for iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and tvOS on March 3, while watchOS 6.2 trailed on March 4. The third round of betas shipped on February 26, with the second on February 19, and the first on February 5.

The fifth beta for watchOS 6.2 was not released at the same time as the others, and like in the fourth generation, may arrive at a later time.

Earlier builds of iOS and iPadOS 13.4 included changes such as the return of iCloud folder sharing, a way for developers to sell macOS and iOS apps as a single purchase, new Memoji stickers, toolbar updates for Mail, keyboard shortcuts for Photos, Family Sharing tweaks in the TV app, and new CarPlay controls. References to a CarKey API were also found, suggesting a future use of an iPhone or Apple Watch as an NFC car key.

The tvOS 13.4 beta included references to a new model of Apple TV 4K. The macOS beta added time-synchronized lyrics to Apple Music, adding a feature that was previously available in the iOS version of the app.

AppleInsider, and Apple itself, strongly recommend users don't install the betas on to "mission-critical" or primary devices, as there is the remote possibility of data loss or other issues. Instead, testers should install betas onto secondary or non-essential devices, and to make sure there are sufficient backups of important data before updating.

I'm doing the Public Betas on mt 12.9" iPad Pro, but not my iPhone or Apple Watch. Plus on 1 of my 2 Apple TV's. I don't want to run Beta software on my Primary device.

Works fine for me, I just tested it right now. Not all sites are going to work with it, though — it can be disabled in code.
