Announced in September 2019, "Mr. Corman" is the story of San Fernando Valley elementary teacher Josh Corman, though few details about the show's story have been revealed so far. Castro will be co-starring as Victor, a roommate and friend of Josh.

Castro, whose involvement in the project was reported by Variety, has a number of major credits to his name, including the third series of Netflix series "Narcos" as cartel leader David Rodriguez, as well as appearances on Comedy Central show "Broad City." More recently, Castro starred and executively produced the critically-acclaimed Comedy Central sketch series "Alternatio."

In film, he has been involved in the Disney Plus remake of "Lady and the Tramp," and appeared in "Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk."

"Mr. Corman" is written, directed, and executively produced by Gordon-Levitt, with A24 producing the project. Bruce Eric Kaplan will be the showrunner as well as an executive producer, with Ravi Nandan, Nathan Reinhart, and Inman Young also credited as executive producers, and Meg A. Schave as a producer.

It is unknown when "Mr. Corman" will air on Apple TV , nor when the show will enter full production.

Damn! For a moment I thought it was a drama series about Roger Corman, something like a series version of Ed Wood!
