    This update killed my MacBook Air. The geeks at the local apple shop say the logic board is shot and has to be replaced. There goes $500 plus that I don't need to spend. Bad news. Be cautious!!!

    You might try this procedure to reinstall the T2 chip firmware.  Note that I think this wipes your drive, so hopefully you have a backup.

    So I can join with many here and say the damn supplemental update bricked my 2012 iMac. What the hell is going on with this update? Got up this morning screen on with a flashing question mark in a grey files logo. I was so pissed, I just turned the damn thing off. Any work I have to do I can do on my iPad Pro.
