Apple this week launched a new Apple Pay promotion that offers moderate savings on select online and in-app purchases conducted with the payments service.

Advertised in an email to existing Apple Pay customers, the promo tells users to "Brighten your summer" with exclusive offers available through July 1.

In-app savings extends to Burger King, which is offering $1 Whoppers, and a Stadium Goods deal that provides 10% off street styles plus free shipping.

On the web, users who check out with Apple Pay can nab 20% off plus free shipping and returns at Cole Haan, 15% off full-price streetwear items at HBX, and $25 off a next purchase when spending $100 or more at Oakley.

Shoppers who enter code "APPLEPAY" are eligible for 20% off shoes and other items and Puma, 15% off select items at Sunglass Hut and $100 off certain products when spending $500 or more at 1stdibs.

Paying with Apple Pay also nets free shipping and returns from Calvin Klein, Cole Haan, Chico's, Soma, Tommy Hilfiger and White House Black Market.

Apple routinely runs promotional campaigns to boost adoption of its digital payments service, most recently offering users 20% off select items from Fanatics.

Do you need to add a code for Coleman or is it automatically reduced after you pay with Apple pay?

Then they should get with the times, because there are numerous burger kings by me, and all of them accept apple pay.

For Burger King, it says it's for in-app purchases. So order your $1 Whopper with the app using Apple Pay for store pick up or dining in where available.

I believe the store needs to be set up for mobile ordering though. Not all of them are yet.
