Apple signs deal with 'Defending Jacob' show runner Mark Bomback
Apple has signed a multi-year deal with "Defending Jacob" creator, executive producer, and showrunner, Mark Bomback, who will create new exclusive content for Apple TV+.
"Defending Jacob" is suspected of being Apple TV+'s most popular show.
Bomback will join a host of other creators who have been signed to Apple TV, including "Physical" showrunner Any Weisman and "Little America" executive producer Lee Eisenberg.
"Defending Jacob," the Apple TV+ limited series starring Chris Evans, follows a lawyer whose teenaged son is accused of murdering a classmate. The series wrapped up its run with its finale episode on May 29. The series, which combines family drama, psychological thriller, and courtroom procedural, was based on a novel of the same name by William Landay.
