Budget Pixel buyers better have a robust or unlimited cell plan as, oddly, the phone doesn’t have wifi. If not, no more watching HD Youtube, porn, and Netflix for long periods.

WTF??! Yesterday it was posters getting the price wrong, and the RAM wrong, and the storage wrong. Now today there's more silly stuff that obviously a poster didn't bother verifying, claiming the Pixel 4a doesn't have wifi?? Again wrong.

Where do people get this stuff? Obviously from a totally unreliable source.
    The Pixel 4a has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, hotspot

Ummm.... It doesn't say there's no wifi. They simply don't mention it at all. You don't check any further than that? When you state facts, especially something so highly unusual, a sensical person would confirm.

Heck, that chart you're relying on doesn't say it uses SIM cards either, or that iPhones or Pixels have Bluetooth. Would you assume then they do not without looking a bit further?

"The Snapdragon X15 LTE Modem offers remarkable LTE download and upload speeds in addition to breakthrough Wi-Fi performance. In fact, the Snapdragon 730G is one of our first platforms that comes Wi-Fi 6-ready."

"Wi-Fi 6-ready" - However, in this case it's not included.

    From Google's specs:

    "Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz + 5 GHz 802.11a/b/g/n/ac 2x2 MIMO"

Yes. That was just a quick copy/paste from the horse's mouth to show that the the phone had Wi-Fi (from its chipset perspective) even if it wasn't listed in the summary here.

Duplicate post. This forum software is really a challenge to deal with.
Not sure if this will help but you could give it a go.

    This is based on Android/Chrome.

When you hit the 'post comment' button it will grey out while sending the comment.

If you suspect it didn't post correctly, click inside the body of your message.

If the 'post comment' button stays grey it is very likely posted or about to go through. Just sit it out.

If the 'post comment' button goes back to its black state, then it did not post correctly and you can hit it again without the risk of a duplicate post occuring.

Thank you for the suggestion. I tried posting this from windows computer in IE. I know you are not a regular windows user, however your observation seems to be applicable to this scenario as well. i will remember this the next time.

The $349 Pixel 4a 128GB has a clean version of Android (latest updates and support), better battery life, a better display and a better camera.

The Pixel 4a also comes with a fast charger in the box, the SE doesn't  come with a fast charger or matching cable.    If you want wireless charging on any USB-C phone, then Amazon sells a wireless charging tag for less than $10.   Then all you have to do is buy a small case for the Pixel 4a, and now you have wireless charging on the Pixel 4a.
