There is a difference: here you can give any comment you want about the government and it wil happened nothing to you . But If you give  the same comment  as a Russian in Russia to the Russian government, it will be not your best day
And the exact same thing will happen to you in China, or they’ll just throw you in jail for life and torture you. Or shoot you. And now in Hong Kong too, and the Western world just looks on and ignores it as Western companies enjoy the fruits of cheap Chinese labour and the massive profits it creates. And millions of Western consumers are more then happy to find that profit with their endless purchases of goods made in China. Hypocrisy at its finest.

Funny -- the Chinese people have risen from poverty to arguably the largest economy in the world in a very short period of time.   The vast majority in that country are quite satisfied (or better).   But the Trumpers are blowing their gaskets in outrage.   I guess Trump told them to "Look over there!"

While that MIGHT be true, what he said is completely true and accurate.   Don't cover up corruption with the Freedom banner.   It's been overused and its getting worn out.
Any way the combination of corruption and freedom is better, than the combination of corruption without freedom. By the second one you are  not allowed even to think about “The government of my country is corrupt”

We only have Trump's word that China is corrupt.   And we know what that is worth.   So far, when asked for evidence supporting his allegations he has consistently come up empty.

You don’t have to listen to what Trump says. I am sure, you don’t need to listen to anyone to make up your own conclusion. But in the case with China, I am afraid that he is right.

Smear campaigns don't need or provide evidence....   And,, that has become the primary tool of the right:   create a climate of hate and fear.

One would think that we would hate and fear the nation attacking our elections.  But the right has directed that hate and fear against a bogeyman.  They are very slick.  But then I would say that they are the corrupt ones.

You really need to get away from “Apple News” as your primary news source. There’s a lot you are apparently missing out on.

I was referring to curated/censored news, thus the quotes. Much easier than saying CNN, MSNBC, NYT, PBS, Wall Street Journal, etc.

So Trump is the only one in the world claiming that China is corrupt? Really?

If you simply Google "currupt China government" there are multiple articles written on this very subject. Will we then say that Trump controls and feeds these agencies so what they write and report on falls in line with what he says?

It seems you have an irrational obligation to support China simply because you hate Trump? This seems to be the way it goes with Liberals anymore.. disagree with us you are a "Trumper"  have a less than sunny outlook of the communist Chinese government you are a "Trumper". If you don't see it our way all day you MUST support Trump. It's absolutely ridiculous and makes me cringe whenever politics come up.

Oh and before you go down that road I am not a Trump supporter in any way shape or form. B)

LOL....   So because they don't parrot the right wing propaganda sites and instead make verified, impartial reports (and correct any mistakes if they make one) makes them "curated/censored news"?    Gee I didn't know that!  I guess i'll have to watch FauxNews more!

The last articles he posted to his beta blog (Roughlydrafted.de) were on March 26th. Silent since then.
